Hi! I’m Alyssa.

I grew up in a tiny Massachusetts town and studied at a French language immersion school, where I found a love of language. I’m determined to one day be trilingual - Spanish is next. 

My dream has always been to work in the entertainment industry in some facet. Whether it’s writing, directing, producing, on set, or off, I love finding synergy with other creative people to bring something to life. 

I am inspired by artists like Agnes Varda, Bong Joon Ho, Andrea Arnold, Robert Eggers, Christopher Nolan, and Martin McDonagh who create all-encompassing, riveting films that are impossible to look away from. One of my favorite feelings as a kid was the rush of adrenaline I get at the movies, and I’ve been chasing that feeling since. 

Currently, I'm enrolled in the IDC (Intimacy Directors and Coordinators) Consent-Forward Artist program, where I'm actively contributing to the movement for a more inclusive, diverse, and secure industry. My aim is to cultivate the skills needed to become an exceptional leader and artist, dedicated to fostering positive transformation.

Outside of work, I am happiest in, on, or beside the water. I love jazz clubs, exuberant dinner parties, yoga, and reading in my hammock. 

I am determined to be a constant positive force wherever I go - life is too short to be anything but.
